As an entrepreneur, the process of identifying a problem and crafting a solution is something that resonates deeply with me. It’s the heartbeat of innovation, the spark that drives change, and Jason DelSoldato, co-founder of Clinch Golf, embodies this spirit as he shares his story from concept to innovation.

Moving The Glove Game Forward

Drawing inspiration from the diverse and challenging conditions of the Pacific Northwest — from coastal mist to high desert heat — they knew that if a glove could perform here, it could perform anywhere.


Their mission is simple: to create an innovative product that stands up to all conditions and delivers top-notch performance.


Whether you're pushing yourself on the professional tour or just aiming to break 100, Clinch Golf designed this glove for golfers of every level.


During my conversation with him on The Shades of Entrepreneurship, I had the chance to dive into his journey of creating Clinch Golf — a company that set out to revolutionize the golf glove market.

The Problem: Traditional Golf Gloves Aren’t Cutting It


Jason’s journey began when he noticed the common issues golfers face with traditional golf gloves. If you’ve ever used one, you’re probably familiar with the frustration — gloves that rip after a few uses, get stiff and uncomfortable in the rain, or leave your hands sticky and sweaty.


For a sport where grip and comfort are paramount, it’s hard to overlook how essential a good glove is for both performance and enjoyment.

No matter the situation: Sweat, Rain or grabbing your favorite beverage, moisture is always a factor in your game. Using modern performance materials, Clinch offers you longer play, better fit and reliable grip in all conditions.

As an entrepreneur, building a loyal customer base is just as important as creating a great product.
